Backpack Trip Perth Australia Day 1

After lunch ( my previous post), we went to check-in Pirates Backpackers Hostel Fremantle. The staff is so friendly. The staff explained to us everything in details and showed us every part of the hostel.
Actually that was our first time to stay at backpacker hostel. We read all those reviews from the website. Some people provided a lot of negative comments, influenced me to think a lot of negative stuff. When I look around the backpacker hostel, I personally felt that: Its not that bad! Surprisingly, it's more comfortable and clean than I thought. Maybe I stayed at hostel during college time, I am used to the sharing environment.
Backpacker hostel more on sharing, sharing the toilets,
kitchen, dining hall, and entertainment room. We been arranged to a 6 person dorm. We had our own lockers. We placed our backpack and headed out again.

Fremantle Market located 2 streets away from the Pirates Backpackers Hostel. We went out to hunt for dinner. We bought breads which cost aussie dollar 4.50 and strawberriesss cost around 3.50-5.00(forgotten how much) in the Fremantle Market. We bought tuna and waters from groceries shop.

We wanted to find a place to eat dinner. We walk to Little Creatures. If you are a beers lover, can stop by Little Creatures to have beers. We not planning to have beers so we just walk pass the shop. In front of Little Creatures is a park. There is quite a number of people jogging around there.

We saw between the shop there is a path to walk towards the seaside. I saw there is a love shape stickers at the bridge and you can sit there to enjoy the beer. Its kinda romantic. We are stalking people in the restaurant because those windows can look through inside.

Walk towards the sea side and found out there are a lot of restaurants facing the sea. Actually we walk there to scan for restaurant to eat 'fish and chips'. We heard alot of people commented that must eat fish and chip. Their fish and chip slightly different from Malaysia's fish and chip. So we walk through every restaurant to search for an affordable fish & chip and nice environment.

We walked to the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour. It raining and we three freezing at the harbour there. We are not used to the cold weather especially after the rain. We are thinking if we sit there to eat our dinner. We will be freezing until shaking until we need 2 hours to finish our dinner. I think most of you will be now sitting there laughing at us: Seriously that cold? Well for us stay in Malaysia that whole year hot weather, and first day to the beach side and after the rain, the wind blow and blow, we three shaking freezing and giggling.

So we headed back to the Fremantle Market. There was a place to sit and enjoyed our dinner. It located at one of the gate of the Fremantle Market. The strawberries were sweet. We picked a wholemeal bread. We ate only few pieces bread with tuna and we started to feel full. When we buy the strawberries, we just feel the amounts are ok only but when we started to eat it, we found out the amounts of the strawberries is really alot! We cant finish the strawberries and bread, so we keep it for next day breakfast. We bought milk and headed back to our hostel.

We can ask for a bag from the front desk of the backpackers hostel and keep our food into the bag. Wrote our name on the beg and kept it in the fridge.

While I waiting to go bath, I saw this guy study from noon until night. I was impressed that he can sit there to study for so long time. Oh, I forget to mention about the toilet, although is sharing, they separated the toilet to female toilet and mix toilet. Upstairs have 2 individual female toilet and downstairs mix toilets. The toilet very clean. :)
